10 MONTHS

My little sweetheart actually turned 11 months yesterday, but I'm behind so I'm doing her 10th month. Chesnie did alot this month. I swear over night she turned into a little person and she's no longer a tiny baby anymore. This is all the new things she did: 4/20 said Hi, 4/26 clapped, 4/29 her top left tooth started coming in, 4/30 said Uh, Oh, 5/1 started crawling, & 5/13 her top right tooth started coming in, so she has 4 teeth now! Everyday she gets faster & does more & more. I love my Baby!!!

Dancin' at Lagoon

On Saturday we went to Lagoon for the Dance Championships. Brinley had been waiting for this day for months. At first when we got there I didn't think Brinley would get up on stage. First she was throwing a fit cause her ballet shoes were to tight, then she was complaining about the itchy tu-tu and then only 2 girls from her group showed up so I thought for sure she wouldn't get up there cause she wouldn't be able to hide in the back. She surprised us all though and went up there and did so good. She followed the teacher good and never once even tried to cry and there was a ton of people watching. I was so proud of her. Brinley is extremely shy and for her to do that it is huge! Dance has been the best thing for her. It has totally brought her out of her shell! It was so cute and I'm so excited for her next recitals!
Feelin a little nervous & hating the itchy tu-tu Waiting to go onThey all were trying so hard to follow Stephanie(the dance teacher) but somehow they all ended up in different positions. It was still so cute though!

Happy Birthday Dad

Last Monday 5/4 night we all went out to a Surprise dinner at Texas Roadhouse for my Dad's 69th Birthday or maybe I should say 29th, that's how old he told the waitress he is when he saddled up for them to sing to him! I do think you're as old as you feel! It was suppose to be just couples, but we took our kids cause Alex had a baseball game he to go to at 7:30 & we met at 6:00 and Natalie & Kit brought Krew. Luke & Alex left early for the game and I stayed and hung out. It was really funny cause I sat next to Kit with him holding Krew and me holding Chesnie, so he thought it would be funny to make the waitress think we were together cause our babies are so close in age. She asked how old Krew was then asked how old Chesnie was. After telling their ages Kit then said "Yeah, we didn't wait long at all!" The waitress looked shocked, but of course we were quick to tell her Just Kidding! We like always had a great time together. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives! I want to again wish my Dad a very Happy Birthday! We love You!!!

OH HAIL

Yesterday after church it's started raining really hard, then came the hail. Brinley wanted to go out in the "Gumballs" she said. She got that from "Bedtime Stories" by the way. This is a typical spring time for Utah, one day it's 75 & gorgeous then the next day it's 45 & hailing. Like I said before "Bring on the HEAT!"

WELCOME WARMTH

Last Monday 4/20 I took my Girls for a walk. It was Chesnie's first walk/wagon ride and she though it was hilarious. Every bump we hit she would just start laughing. It was perfect weather. I can't wait for summer. It felt so good to get out of the house and hang out outside. We're all ready for it. Bring on the HEAT!

POOR PEACHES

It happened! I knew this day would come and it could have been worse. I'm not saying I was waiting for it or that I wanted it to happen, but I knew it was coming. On Monday Peaches was ran over by a car. She didn't die, she was just really hurt. What happened was I was in the shower, Alex was riding his dirt bike on the side of our house, & Brinley was in the front yard with Peaches. All the sudden Brinley comes running into me and says "Mom Peaches got ran over by a car!" I said "Oh my Gosh where is she?" I'm thinking at this point she's outside dead laying on the street, then she comes in the bathroom with Alex and I was so glad to see she was still alive. I got out of the shower and checked Peaches out and her back legs looked like they were skinned in a few places and she was moving really slow. I could just tell her legs were really sore and nothing seemed broken. The kids thought she was dying cause to kids blood means death! She was okay though. But I can see it now, she will chase another car and it will really run her over and kill her. Peaches is obsessed with chasing cars, actually anything with wheels. (Naughty Dog!) What I think happened was she was running after a truck (Brinley said it was a truck) and got to close and the tire bumped her back side and she skinned her legs on the street, so I don't think the truck totally ran her over! I just hope she's learned her lesson cause I actually like her now and my kids adore her. So pray for Peaches to end her bad habit!!

I forgot to add, Peaches was also attacked on Sunday by the big neighbor dog. The stupid dog had Peaches butt in his mouth and was swinging her around like a rag doll. She came in the house with blood under her tail. Alex was out there and watched the whole thing. I just know my kids are gonna be there when Peaches dies and they will be scared for life. She's had a really bad week! So I guess now she only has about 7 lives to go!! Poor Peachy!
