Monday Nov. 5, 2012 was the day for surgery. Mom was in surgery for about 6 hours. It was longest day of my life. The surgery went just as planned and it was a success. They were able to remove 99% of the tumor. Right after she was out we were able to go back and see her. I didn't know what to expect. She was doing so go. She was talking to us and everything. She even ask my Dad who won the election (which wasn't until the next day), so luckily she still had her memory. We were all so relieved and so thankful for the doctors! It was a good day!!
