Making Chocolate Milk

One morning while I was in the shower, Chesnie decided to make herself a cup of chocolate milk. I walked out into the living room and found chocolate milk mix all over my rug & the coffee table. She even got herself a cup & spoon. I was mad, but it was kinda cute & funny so I had to get a picture of it!

And it happened again!! Yes, she did it again. I was down stairs putting some laundry in the washer. At least this time it was on the tile in the kitchen. Brinley decided to get involved and had a great time. They got the little trucks out and played in like it was sand. It was not funny at all!! The thing that made me even more mad was that I had just bought the mix the night before. I was replacing the other mix she dumped. She dumped the whole thing too! The 1st it was kinda funny, but the 2nd not so much!!! We now keep the chocolate milk mix up high in the pantry.

Potty Training 101

Chesnie is at the fun age of good old Potty Training. I Hate Potty Training!! We bought her a little potty seat that goes on the toilet, but she just thinks it's fun to go sit on the toilet and read. It's really cute, but I wish she would take it serious and be done with diapers. I know she'll get it, but I hate the whole process! I'm also really sad that my baby is growing up!!

We're still Fans

Feb. 6th was the Super Bowl & we LOVE the Super Bowl at our house. Since the Steelers made it this year I made sure and had party. I made B-B-Q pork sandwichs and cupcakes with the Steelers colors. My parents, Luke's parents & the White family came over to watch the big game with us. It was alot of fun other than the game didn't turn out the way we all wanted it to. The Steelers lost and Luke was not happy, but he got over it after going outside for a little bit and roping off some steam. I just said Better Luck next year and we're still HUGE fans!!!

The beginning of the game Luke wrote Fudge above the Packers on the balloon, then in the middle of the game he was so mad he took a fork to it and tore it apart!! Good thing it was just a balloon!

Happy 13th SiS

Feb. 11th is Sydnee's actual B-Day, but we celebrated it on Feb. 5th. Elise had her party at Salsa Leedos. We just ate dinner than sang Happy Birthday. I can't believe she's 13. Sydnee was only 6 weeks old when Luke & I met, so every time she has a B-Day it reminds me of when we first started dating. 13 years, CRAZY!!!

Circus Time

On Feb. 2nd we went as a family to the Circus. It was just a small circus at the South Jordan Equestrian Center. Our kids were so excited to be there. Chesnie was really excited for the Cotton Candy. It was pretty good entertainment, other then about an hour into it was a long intermission. We left during the intermission cause it was taking forever and it was getting late. We enjoyed it though. We always love a Circus!!

Results of a Concussion

On Jan. 16th my poor little Chesnie got a concussion. It was a Sunday morning, Luke & I were sitting up stairs and the kids were all playing down in the basement. All the sudden Chesnie started crying really hard and Luke right away said "that's a hurt cry". Alex came up the stairs holding Chesnie saying she hit her head. Alex said she was trying to get up onto the stool and it tipped over and she fell back and it came right down unto her. The wood seat part hit her right in between the eyes. Right away there was a HUGE Blue goose egg. She would not even open her eyes, she was responding to us by wouldn't open her eyes. Then she fell asleep in my lap after about a half hour. I tried everything to keep her up, but she just couldn't stay awake. It was about an hour that she slept, then as soon as she woke up she threw up. The rest of the day she just laid around. Around 7 p.m. she finally got up and was moving around. We felt so bad for her, but she was okay. Poor baby had some bad bruises from it!

X-MAS EVE

Every year we all go over to my parents for X-Mas Eve. We always have dinner & a white elephant gift exchange. The kids all got cute stuff animals from Grandma & Papa. I love Christmas Eve, I love it even more than Christmas Day. It's so fun being with everybody and feeling the excitement of Christmas!!
