WELCOME WARMTH

Last Monday 4/20 I took my Girls for a walk. It was Chesnie's first walk/wagon ride and she though it was hilarious. Every bump we hit she would just start laughing. It was perfect weather. I can't wait for summer. It felt so good to get out of the house and hang out outside. We're all ready for it. Bring on the HEAT!

POOR PEACHES

It happened! I knew this day would come and it could have been worse. I'm not saying I was waiting for it or that I wanted it to happen, but I knew it was coming. On Monday Peaches was ran over by a car. She didn't die, she was just really hurt. What happened was I was in the shower, Alex was riding his dirt bike on the side of our house, & Brinley was in the front yard with Peaches. All the sudden Brinley comes running into me and says "Mom Peaches got ran over by a car!" I said "Oh my Gosh where is she?" I'm thinking at this point she's outside dead laying on the street, then she comes in the bathroom with Alex and I was so glad to see she was still alive. I got out of the shower and checked Peaches out and her back legs looked like they were skinned in a few places and she was moving really slow. I could just tell her legs were really sore and nothing seemed broken. The kids thought she was dying cause to kids blood means death! She was okay though. But I can see it now, she will chase another car and it will really run her over and kill her. Peaches is obsessed with chasing cars, actually anything with wheels. (Naughty Dog!) What I think happened was she was running after a truck (Brinley said it was a truck) and got to close and the tire bumped her back side and she skinned her legs on the street, so I don't think the truck totally ran her over! I just hope she's learned her lesson cause I actually like her now and my kids adore her. So pray for Peaches to end her bad habit!!

I forgot to add, Peaches was also attacked on Sunday by the big neighbor dog. The stupid dog had Peaches butt in his mouth and was swinging her around like a rag doll. She came in the house with blood under her tail. Alex was out there and watched the whole thing. I just know my kids are gonna be there when Peaches dies and they will be scared for life. She's had a really bad week! So I guess now she only has about 7 lives to go!! Poor Peachy!

Easter Egg Hunt # 2

On Sunday we had another Easter Egg Hunt with Luke's family. We were suppose to do it last Saturday but it was bad weather so Julie (Luke's mom) decided on this Sunday. Every year Julie puts money in the eggs instead of candy and the kids always look forward to that. This year to make it even she put the kids names on the eggs. It was a small group this year, but we had a good time!Luke had to help Chesnie find her eggs of course!

HAPPY EASTER

Easter started out like any other Easter. The Easter Bunny made it to our house! The kids were really excited of course. Chesnie loved her first Easter. She just tore everything out of her basket and had fun making a little mess!
I got pictures of my pretty girls in their Easter dresses but Alex thought he was to cool or something to get his picture. He stripped out of his church clothes before I could take one of him!
After church my family came to our house for Dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Drake & Sydnee meeting Krew for the first time!

FUN-DIP

On Thursday after Alex's game Luke took Brinley to the Snack Shack to get a snow cone & she was begging through the whole game for some FunDip, so he got her some. When we got home I got the kids ready for bed then Brinley wanted her candy. First of all I hate this candy. It's messy and you have to cut them apart and cut out the dip stick to eat it, I just hate it. So I started cutting and Chesnie was sitting on my lap and it was dark. I missed the middle and cut into the candy and it went all over Chesnie. It was in her eye, ear, mouth, just all over! I felt so bad, but Brinley & I just sat there and laughed. I just had to take a picture. It was funny cause Chesnie didn't cry or anything, all she did was say mmm, nummm! It was really funny!!!Poor Baby she had a watery eye, so the fun dip got sticky under her eye!!
What a sweetie!!

Baseball Season

Baseball is Back! Alex had his first game on Thursday 4/9. This is his 3rd year playing baseball and this is Luke's 2nd year coaching Alex's team. I didn't think Luke was gonna coach this year cause last year it was alot of work and he almost got thrown out of a couple games for fighting back and forth with the ref. Yes, I said thrown out. Who gets thrown out of a Pee Wee baseball game. Well that would be Luke Mr. Competative!! But he decided to do it again and hopefully he will remember the kids are only 7/8 years and to not be so intense!! Last year Alex kept telling us he wanted to pitch and Luke didn't think he was ready so this year he gave it a shot and Alex rocked the game! He was throwing some serious HEAT! Striking them out all but probably 4 times. They won the game by 3 points! Alex is just a natural. He was so excited and loved it so much more then last year. He played outfield and when your outfield in little league it's pretty boring cause not very many kids hit it out there. It was fun for him to have the crowd cheer him on for doing so good. He's found his talent!! We are really proud of him!!!

Alex is a really good hitter too!!
COACH
This is another one of Alex's talents, begging for something. He wanted Funyuns, but what part of I don't have my purse don't you understand!!!
Chesnie, Brinley, & I enjoyed sitting outside. We're ready for a fun season!!
