FIRSTS

On Dec. 29th Chesnie had a couple of firsts. I put her in the high chair for the first time. She loved it because she was finally at our level when we eat meals so I think she finally feels included! Then later she rolled over. She literally was on a roll that night!!!
This is right after she rolled over! So Cute!!
She wore her self out and fell asleep on the couch!

Christmas Day

Okay so I'm a month exactly behind, but oh well. I'm trying to caught up! We woke up on Christams morning to a ton of snow. But every one dreams of a white Christmas and we got it!! Luke had to dig us out with the bobcat. Other then the major snow we had a good day!Chesnie loved her first Christmas. She just wanted to lay on the floor and play with all of the wrapping paper and bows.
Later in the evening we went over to Luke's parents house for dinner.

X-MAS EVE

I love Christmas Eve! I look forward to that more than Christmas day. Every year x-mas eve is spent at my parents house. My mom always cooks the best Mexican dinner, cookies, fudge, and just pretty much every Christmas food there is. We do a gift exchange and just hang out. It's always good fun!!!
Me & Broox. I just love him!!
Luke is always the one who gives Chesnie different treats. He shared his cinnamon candy cane with her and she loved it. She would get mad if he took it away. We were surprised that she liked it cause it's spicey, but I think she's gonna be like me. A Big Sweet Tooth!

Chesnie hangin with Uncle Kit
Dax & Alex
The group of kids was small this year. Most of Elise's gang was with their dad & Gina's family was not there. It's not normal for my fam!!! So it was a pretty calm night!Brin, Grandma, & Alex
Elise had Natalie's family for the gift exchange and Ian made them the cutest coat rack!
Every occasion Me, Natalie, Elise, & my Mom always take a picture like this. We usually don't leave until we do!

Family X-Mas Party

This year my sister Michelle and her family came to visit from Arizona right before Christmas and they went back home on X-Mas Eve, so on Dec. 22nd we had Christmas dinner while they were here.
After dinner we moved on to the white elephant gift exchange. I love seeing what people bring! Then all the grand kids got to open their gift from Grandma & Papa. My mom is so great, she made all of them pajama pants and there is alot of kids!! There's 25 grand kids and she made every single one of them a pair, except for Dustin cause he's not here, he's on a mission! They were all excited for them. It makes a really special gift when you know Grandma made them!!! The granddaughters (minus Mckenna)The Grandsons (minus Trey & Gina's boys except Johnny)

FUNNY KIDS

I find myself laughing alot through out the day at the things Brinley says and alot of the time I try so hard not to laugh cause she is being serious with half of the things she says and I don't want to hurt her feelings. Today while driving to drop her off at preschool she all of the sudden got excited and I said what, what happened? She said Oh maybe Brinklee will be at school today, maybe she's not sick anymore! I said oh she was sick, what was wrong with her and she said oh she picked her nose! I kinda laughed a little and said oh that's to bad! Kids say the funniest things!!

FRIENDS X-MAS PARTY

We have a Christmas party every year with our friends and a few years ago we decided to do them at different restaurants. On Dec. 19th we met at Guadalahonky's. We also do a gift exchange and this year for the first time we did white elephant gifts!
I got Beau & Rachel's gift and it was half way wrapped in a magazine ad and it just so happened to be a maxi pad ad. Rachel said she ran out of wrapping paper so she used that to cover the back of the gift. It was hilarious.

George got one of our gifts and I'm not even gonna say what it was!!!

We had the best waitress in town. A little Elf (my sister Elise)!!!
