Party in Da Crib

I woke up and went in to get Drew out of her crib. I found Chesnie in the crib with her watching her Kindle Fire. Thank goodness for older siblings entertaining the baby so I can sleep in a little bit!!

Dancing Family Trip

 We went to St. George because Brinley had dance competition. We had been planning it for almost a year. We were all excited to get away for the weekend. We never go anywhere and this was the kids first trip over night. It quickly turned out to be crazy!! It took 5 1/2 hours to get there. Drew cried for almost 2 hours. When we got there I took the kids swimming for an hour, then we went to dinner at Outback. It was way to late for the kids to be eating dinner. We got our food at 9pm and at that point they were so tired, everyone was cranky and falling asleep in the booth. Then when it was time for bed no one would go to sleep. Saturday was Drew's birthday and Brinley performed at Dixie High School. In between the dances and the awards we had nothing to do so we drove by the St. George Temple and  then we went and found a place to lay down outside just to past the time. During the awards ceremony Chesnie and Drew fell asleep through all the noise. Brinley's group did really good. They took Platinum 1st place for their Hip Hop dance and Gold-Gold 2nd place for their Jazz dance. We went home right after the awards. It was a better trip home. Drew slept for about 2 hours and it only took 4 hours to get home. This trip was fun at times, but next I think it'll just be Me and Brinley that will go!!

Beaver's Big Chair

On our way to St. George for Brinley's dance competition we stopped to get gas in Beaver. Taking a picture in the Big Chair at that gas station is just something you have to do when you're passing through there!
