This year Alex's team played in a tournament on June 22
th-24
th. They played 4 times during the tournament and won 2 out of 4. Alex pitched through most of it & did awesome. The whole team played some hard. A couple of the games were pretty intense. The Saturday game was the most intense one. It was against a
Bingham team and they were a really good team. They had beat us before so our team was really wanting to win. At one point Luke went out to warm up Alex before the inning and one of the coaches from the other team came up to Luke asking him what the score was. Luke had been keeping score for our team so he told him what score he had and the coach said Luke had it wrong. They went back and forth about the score for a few minutes, then the other coach chest bumped Luke and then Luke pushed him off of him. I could tell Luke was gonna hit him, but held back. They got it resolved and Luke & the other coach had to sit outside of the
fench. I felt really bad for Alex cause he was on the mound just watching the whole thing and the other little boys watched from the dugout. Luke talked to the boys afterwards and apologized to everyone. He felt really bad. They ended up losing the game, but they played so good. They still ended up being the
Champions for there division! Good Job
