6 MONTHS OLD

Chesnie turned 6 months on Dec. 16th. She is getting too big, too fast. She started doing a couple of new things! On Dec. 27th she started dancing, it's not all the time, but she does it alot. We just sing to her ( Danicin, Dancin, Every body's Dancin) and she moves her little head & shoulders. It's really cute! She also rolled over on the 29th and I was so excited, I actually scared Luke! He thought something bad happened cause I was so loud about it! Chesnie brings so much joy to our family, we just can't get enough of her. We love her!!!

On Jan. 2nd I took Chesnie to her 6 month check up. She is 20 lbs 6 oz(97%) & 27 inches(90%)

Brinley & Chesnie both love to laugh together. I love to just sit & just watch them! I know I better enjoy it now cause the fighting will start!!!

Dancing with Santa

Brinley has been taking dance for the last 2 years and loves everything about it. She takes dance from my sister-in-law Stephanie. On Dec. 16 they had a Christmas/pajama dance program. Brinley surprised me by actually performing with her class. She is usually so shy she won't do anything in front of anybody. I was so proud of her! After they showed off there moves they've learned in the last 5 months they got to sit on Santa's lap, so when I say dancing with Santa, they really didn't dance with him, he was just there.

All the little girls are so cute! I love watching them!!!

Brinley wanted to sit on this Santa's lap, probably because she was at dance. Dance is one of her favorite places to be. It was funny though she noticed right away that this Santa was not wearing a hat (very observant!)

GRASSHOPPERS

Brinley absolutely loves Grasshopper cookies, they're her favorite. A few weeks ago, Dec. 15 to be exact I was in the shower and could hear Brinley dragging the bar stool across the kitchen floor. That's how she gets what she wants when it's to high and when I can't help her. So when I got out of the shower and went into the living room there she was holding the new thing of Grasshoppers and let me just say new, not opened yet cookies. I caught her chocolate handed and chocolate covered teeth! She would eat the whole package if I let her and she was on a mission to do that while I was in the shower. It was pretty funny and she thought it was funny too. I took them away from her before she throw them all up!

2008 HIGHLIGHTS

2008 was a very busy year for us! I just wanted to share our memories and remember what a great year it was!New Years (Jan. 1)

(Feb. 24- 23weeks pregnant)
The beginning of the year did not start out so great! I found out I was pregnant on Oct. 20,07, so the first half of 2008 I was pregnant and on Jan. 21 I found out I had placenta previa, so I was put on bed rest and I was only 18 weeks along. On Jan. 24 Luke had shoulder surgery, then Jan. 29 Alex had his tonsils taken out. We were all in bed and in bad shape. Luckily Brinley was fine! We all got better and on April 2, I was taken off of bed rest, so everything started getting better!!

Peaches joined our family (Feb.20)

I got my braces off (June 12)
Sweet Chesnie joined our family (June 16)
I turned 30 (July 25)

Our yard was finally finished (Aug. 14)
Brinley started preschool (Sept. 4)
Chesnie was blessed (Oct. 5)
Alex was baptized (Oct. 25)

Luke & I celebrated our 10th Anniversary (Nov. 14)

We had a great year! I loved 2008! Hopefully 2009 will bring great things to us and everyone else! Happy New Year!!!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE

On Dec. 14 the kids & I put together a Gingerbread House. It was a little tricky cause the kit was a year old. It was a gift from someone last year. The frosting was really sticky, so the roof wouldn't stay on. The kids had fun with it though & it still turned out pretty cute!!!

Happy Temple Anniversary

Luke & I have 2 Anniversaries! One civil & one for Eternity! We were sealed on Dec. 28, 2002 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple! We were married for 4 years when we got sealed and Alex was 2! I want to tell Luke how much I love him and I love the sound of ETERNITY!!!

Good Ol Santa Claus

On Sat. Dec 13 Luke & I took the kids to see Santa at the mall. We meet our friends Russ & Christina & their kids there. We got there late as always and they had already been standing there for almost an hour so we didn't want to be rude and but in when other people had been waiting too! I asked the kids if they cared if they sat on Santa's lap and Alex didn't want to, Brinley said she was scared of him, and Payton told me it was a fake so he didn't care. I didn't care either because this Santa seemed crabby! He got mad at me when I took a picture, he told me his eye's would look red for the other pictures the mall people were taking and I thought maybe cause your Devil Santa that's why your eyes look red!!! So we watched Russ & Christina's kids (Shaylee & Traeson) sit on Santa's lap! Russ said when they got up there Santa said he needed to take a break! Good Ol Santa!!!!
